NOIR ET BLANC

I am a creature of habit. Black and white is not only my trademark look,
it's an extension of my personality (anybody who knows me will agree).

However, after attending a "colourful" fundraiser ball last weekend,
I've realised injecting a bit o' colour mightn't be such a bad thing...

Hmmm.. To be cont.

NB: I wore a super-bright, multi coloured, (it gets better) floral, strapless dress.
I may be a creature of habit, but I also don't ever do things by halves.

BLACK MAMBA

It is a rare phenomenon indeed to render me speechless.
And here I am, unable to form words to express how in love I am with the new Winston Wolfe collection.

Perhaps its just easier to say #mindblown

COME IN

If I wasn't doing fashion, Interior design would be my next choice.
One day, I will have a home that looks like this, complete with furry hammock,
chalkboard wall and gigantic zebra hide.

FAIL SAFE

There is a saying - "Once you go black you never go back". And though I have been known to venture into other territories (namely white and neon hues), I always return. It is the perfect tone for when you a) have no idea what to wear or have nothing new to wear, b) want to look chic without trying and c) quite frankly, can't be effed.

Some may read that as lazy. I like to think of it as a fail safe option for when you've got too much on your plate to make dressing your no.1 priority, yet you still need to look the part (NB: fashion students do not dress fabulously everyday. We are time poor and money poor. Black on black is our best friend).

BARELY THERE.

I turned 24 yesterday and it got me thinking about all the things I still want to do and places I want to see... I've barely crossed off a quarter of my bucket list. But rather than dwell, I'm just gonna take it in my stride and make sure I don't waste anymore time on things that don't matter.

Have a great weekend peeps. I'll be shakin' what ma mumma gave me at Harbourlife.
